plsbuildos.com is a small personal project. It does not set tracking cookies, does not run advertising scripts, and does not sell or share data with anyone.
When you visit the site, the hosting provider (Netlify, Inc.) temporarily processes standard server information — your IP address, browser type, and the page requested — to deliver the page and protect against abuse. These logs are retained by Netlify for a short period and are not used by me for analytics or profiling. Netlify's privacy policy: netlify.com/privacy.
The site stores two small values in your browser's localStorage — where you came from (a src URL parameter) and the referring site — so that if I ever add a signup form, I can understand which channels brought people here. This data stays on your device unless you submit a form. There is no form on the site right now. You can clear localStorage any time via your browser settings.
This site uses GoatCounter for basic, privacy-friendly usage statistics — pageviews and download button clicks. GoatCounter does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, does not fingerprint your browser, and does not store IP addresses. I use the aggregate numbers to understand which pages and channels are useful. If you prefer not to be counted at all, enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser will block it. The plsBuild OS bundles are downloaded directly from this site. No account, email, or identifier is required. The bundles run locally on your machine and do not phone home.

You have the right to request information about any personal data I hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Since this site doesn't collect personal data server-side beyond the hosting logs described above, in most cases there is nothing for me to export or delete — but you can always write to hello@plsbuildos.com and I'll respond.
